Linux is born
In 1991, Aldo announced the world that his new operating system was ready and working. Moreover, he surprised the other computer scientists by offering it free and with complete access over the code.
Aldo said that they were even encourage to explore the operating system and adjust it to their needs. "I was just hoping that from that moment on, Linux will develop through his users. And it did," Aldo said at his conference in 1999.
For several years, Aldo worked as a full time professor at the University of California, but in 2002, he was offered the position as the executive president of "Linux-development" company.
Aldo accepted immediately and began working with several computer manufactures on developing and expanding the features of his own operating system.
